SoftBank is in talks to invest up to $25 billion in OpenAI, becoming the startup's largest backer. The collaboration follows a recent partnership with Oracle and involves a project named Star Gate.

The "Softbank" group leads negotiations on an investment of up to 25 billion dollars into the "Open AI" company, making it its largest investor in this startup. In November, "Open AI" allowed its employees to sell shares for 1.5 billion dollars as part of an offer from "Softbank."

A partnership program has been announced between "Softbank," "Open AI," and Oracle under the name "Star Gate," which was communicated by President Donald Trump last week at the White House. The plan proposes an investment of billions of dollars from Masayoshi Son, the founder of "Softbank," who insists on increasing his stake in "Open AI" after investing only 500 million dollars in the last fundraising round of the startup.
