U.S. President Donald Trump stated that he is considering the possibility of purchasing a used Boeing aircraft. Trump, who often travels aboard the luxurious Air Force One, told journalists that he is thinking about acquiring a plane for himself personally, as, in his opinion, operating a governmental aircraft becomes very expensive in maintenance.
"One question that I find really interesting – Yes, is it expensive? I want to ask about this information," - said Trump. Moreover, he expressed confidence that Boeing would consider his request without any problems. Trump is used to utilizing his own aircraft, even before he became president, and has even continued flights on it during his time in office.
"I know both Boeings very well. They are very good planes. It’s unclear what will happen in the end," - added Trump, noting that the purchase is just "one of many options."
