President of the USA Donald Trump has once again called for the Federal Reserve to lower interest rates.
This call is not the first in recent times. Trump expressed dissatisfaction with high interest rates, asserting that they hinder the country's economic growth. In his statements, he noted that low rates are key to prosperity.
"I ask the Federal Reserve to lower interest rates (while other countries are having much lower or zero rates), so we can start to competitively compete with other countries. We are smarter, stronger, and richer than they are - stop this in our prevalence. Or will we always pay a high price?" Trump wrote on his Twitter.
