Markets React to Fears of Stock Revaluation

Fears of a market correction returned to the forefront this week on Wall Street and Asian markets. Typically seen as safe havens, stocks in the food and beverage sector saw a slight uptick. European stocks fell to two-week lows on Wednesday as continued stock valuations sparked global investor anxiety. Meanwhile, shares of Novo Nordisk declined after the pharmaceutical company issued a negative outlook. The Stoxx 600 index of European stocks fell 0.4% to 568.10 points, trading at levels not seen since October 17 for the second consecutive session. Technology stocks, among the biggest sectoral losers, dropped 1.3%.
