American e-commerce giant Amazon announced on Wednesday that it will invest in areas such as artificial intelligence and logistics infrastructure. The company stated that the planned spending until 2030 will contribute to creating one million additional jobs in India. Amazon has pledged to invest $35 billion in India over the next five years, which will boost its spending in a key growth market to expand its business from quick commerce to cloud computing. The company had previously announced its intention to invest an additional $15 billion in India by 2030, including plans by its cloud computing division, Amazon Web Services, to invest $12.7 billion.
