Bloomberg News reported that the U.S. Air Force has delayed the expected delivery date for the first of two new presidential aircraft, "Air Force One" from Boeing, by another year until mid-2028. The Air Force provided this latest estimate in a statement to Bloomberg, noting that the timeline "came as a result of ongoing discussions between Boeing and the Air Force." A U.S. Air Force official had said in May that Boeing had proposed delivering its new, delayed version of the American presidential aircraft in 2027, which is three years after the originally contracted date in December 2024.
