US Gasoline Prices Decrease

The US Energy Ministry announced a reduction in gasoline and diesel fuel prices. The price of 95-octane gasoline fell by 3.2 cents, 91-octane by 2.6 cents, and diesel by 3.7 cents. New prices are in effect from December 26, 2025.


It has been reported that 95-octane gasoline will cost 0.83 cents per liter, representing a decrease of 3.2 cents. Meanwhile, 91-octane gasoline will be sold at 0.78 cents, with a reduction of 2.6 cents. According to the Ministry of Energy, reference prices are calculated based on the international values of finished products (gasolines and diesel) quoted on the US Gulf Coast, the country's main supplier market. Low-sulfur diesel will be priced at 0.77 cents per liter, reflecting a drop of 3.7 cents. During the current period, international quotations recorded significant reductions, which are directly passed on to final consumer prices. The National Energy Ministry announced a decrease in new fuel prices, which will be effective from Friday, December 26, 2025, to Thursday, January 8, 2026. The adjustment is made every 14 days.
