An annual report released on Thursday revealed that sovereign wealth funds and public pension funds pumped $132 billion into the United States in 2025, nearly half of their annual investments, while investments attracted to emerging markets fell by nearly a third compared to 2024. The report, issued by Global SWF, a specialized institution tracking the activities of sovereign and pension funds, indicated that these large investors, along with central banks, recorded a record figure of $60 trillion in managed assets last year. Sovereign wealth funds alone posted a new record in assets, reaching $15 trillion.
