Two men broke through a bathroom wall adjacent to a jewelry store in Cape Coral, Florida, and stole over $500,000 in merchandise, as well as two firearms, after tying up and assaulting the store manager, according to court documents. Cape Coral police have not identified the men, but the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Middle District of Florida announced the arrest of Evel Sanchez Rivera, accused of driving the getaway car. Sanchez Rivera, 52, of Hialeah, Florida, was charged with conspiracy to commit robbery by force, robbery by force, and using and displaying a firearm in relation to a violent crime. Shortly after 10 a.m. last Tuesday, according to a criminal complaint reviewed by The New York Times, a person with remote access to the surveillance system inside "Teo Jewelers" in Cape Coral saw a live feed of two men walking around the store while the manager was on the floor.
