Spanish entrepreneur Fernando Fixman has sued reggaeton star Daddy Yankee for alleged fraud, conspiracy, and breach of trust, related to a multi-million dollar padel business venture. Fixman claims he was irregularly excluded from a company where he was an investor alongside the renowned singer and his then-wife, Mireddys González. The conflict arose when a main partner proposed to buy his shares, an offer he rejected as he considered the business highly profitable. Subsequently, he was called to a general meeting where the dissolution of the company was proposed, a decision he also opposed. According to the lawsuit filed in 2024, the company continued to operate under the same name, with the same business model and new partners, but without his involvement. "It was an impressive business and I had no intention of leaving," stated the entrepreneur in an interview. However, he asserts that he received a letter from lawyers to accelerate the dissolution.
