This sum is roughly equivalent to the sale of Canadian artist Justin Bieber's song rights in 2023. U.S. media outlets indicated that Spears sold her music rights to Primary Wave, a company that also owns the rights to the works of Whitney Houston, Bob Marley, Prince, and others. At 44 years old, Spears has followed in the footsteps of several other stars who have sold their music rights in recent years, including Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan, Shakira, and the band KISS.
