Goldman Sachs raised its forecasts for the average Brent crude price in the second quarter of 2026 by $10 to $76 per barrel, and its forecast for the average price of U.S. WTI crude by $9 to $71 per barrel on Wednesday. The bank also adjusted its forecasts for the fourth quarter of 2026 for Brent and U.S. crude to $66 and $62, respectively, and for 2027 to $70 and $66, respectively.

Goldman Sachs has increased its Brent crude forecast for Q2 2026 to $76/barrel and WTI to $71/barrel. Forecasts for late 2026 and 2027 have also been adjusted.
