This indicates that the company is struggling to sell its electric vehicles amid a sector-wide downturn. This figure marks the largest gap between production and sales in the company's history. Tesla has long been distinguished by its ability to precisely match supply with demand. The last time the company approached such a level of unsold production was in the same period of 2024, when production exceeded sales by 46,500 vehicles. Tesla's stock price fell by up to 4%.
