Boeing Forecasts Strong Growth for Air Cargo Sector

Boeing anticipates a robust and sustainable growth of 4% annually for the global air cargo sector until 2043, highlighting a significant trend in the industry.

Boeing Forecasts Strong Growth for Air Cargo Sector

Boeing, a company specializing in aircraft manufacturing, expects strong and sustainable growth in the global air freight sector, primarily at 4% annually until 2043.

This forecast is based on significant opportunities in cargo aviation, driven by growth in international trade and demand for air freight services. The company asserts that air cargo will grow faster than passenger aviation since larger companies prefer air distribution of goods.

"We see that cargo aviation represents one of the most attractive and fast-growing segments in the aviation industry," noted a Boeing representative.

Additionally, the company predicts growth in the number of cargo aircraft needed to meet the demand for air freight services. According to their estimates, by 2043 the global cargo aircraft fleet will increase more than twofold.

This means that in the next two decades, the prevalence of cargo aviation will remain one of the key segments of the aviation sector, generating stable and sustained growth.
