On Friday, the Universal resort in Orlando (Florida) kicked off its Christmas season, running until January 4, 2026, with a lineup of new activities and shows featuring Harry Potter and The Grinch across its theme parks, including Universal Studios Florida, Universal Islands of Adventure, and Universal Epic Universe. The celebration extends to the complex's newest park, Universal Epic Universe, which opened in May, where visitors can explore the decorations in Celestial Park and in the magical world of 'The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic,' inspired by the 'Fantastic Beasts' and 'Harry Potter' films. Guests can 'purchase Christmas gifts and exclusive merchandise at the Holiday Tribute Store and throughout the complex, including items inspired by their favorite characters and experiences,' as well as access special seasonal menus. The resort also proposes additional activities like the guided 'Universal Holiday Tour,' with reserved areas for shows and character meet-and-greets, or the 'Grinch & Friends Character Breakfast' with characters from the world of Seuss. Among the main attractions is 'Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter,' which immerses the audience in J.K. Rowling's magical world through Christmas-themed musical performances and includes the nighttime show 'The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle.' Visitors can also experience the 'Grinchmas' attraction, set in the universe of 'The Grinch' by children's author Dr. Seuss, where they can meet the characters of Who-ville, the fictional city where the protagonists of 'How the Grinch Stole Christmas!' live; and they will also have the opportunity to see the 'Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular' show. Likewise, the company has prepared the 'Universal's Holiday Parade featuring Macy's' with giant balloons, floats, and artists that will travel the streets of Universal Studios Florida.
