A shooting occurred on the campus of Kentucky State University (KSU) on Tuesday, resulting in one death and one injury. The suspect has been taken into custody, according to local authorities. Police remain at the scene and have cordoned off the area. A university spokesperson, Michael DeCourcy, confirmed that the deceased and injured student are enrolled at the institution, adding that the latter is in critical condition. He also stated that the shooter was not a student of the university. The Frankfort Police Department reported that they responded to the scene in the afternoon following a report of an active aggressor on the KSU campus in that Kentucky locality. According to Noticias Argentinas agency, citing Xinhua, the university has been closed until further notice, police said.
