Suzette Quintanilla, the sister of the late singer Selena, has expressed her condolences following the death of her father, Abraham Quintanilla. He passed away at the age of 86, as announced by his son, A.B. Quintanilla III. "With great sorrow, I inform you that my father passed away today," the musician posted on his Instagram. Abraham Quintanilla was not only Selena's father but also her manager. He formed the family band 'Selena y Los Dinos', which also included his other children, A.B. Quintanilla III and Suzette. The band achieved great success in the late 1980s. In 1995, Selena was murdered at the age of 23 by Yolanda SaldÃvar, the former president of the artist's fan club. Abraham Quintanilla was the executive producer of the biographical film 'Selena' (1997), in which he was played by Edward James Olmos and his daughter by Jennifer Lopez. In the 2020 Netflix miniseries 'Selena: The Series', Quintanilla was portrayed by Ricardo Chavira.
