Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) found the bodies of 78-year-old film director Rob Reiner and his wife, photographer Michele Singer, at their residence in West Los Angeles. The bodies were discovered on Sunday following a distress call. Police have launched a formal investigation to determine the cause of death. Reiner and Singer married in 1989 after meeting on the set of 'When Harry Met Sally.' Their romance influenced the director, leading him to change the script and give the film its famous happy ending. According to media reports, their son, Nick Reiner, who has struggled with drug addiction, is the suspected perpetrator. It has been reported that the deceased couple had stab wounds. 'I am shocked and devastated. My family and I are going through a terrible tragedy,' a statement attributed to Nick Reiner read. 'I am cooperating with the investigation and praying that the truth comes out soon.'
