The film will be titled 'Please' and will be written and directed by Halina Reijn, a filmmaker known for her bold vision and for exploring human relationships in depth from a contemporary perspective. Although plot details have not yet been revealed, it has been confirmed that it will be a period drama with a strong dramatic component and an unconventional approach to romance, in line with her director's signature style. Reijn will also be a producer of the project through her company Man Up Film, alongside David Hinojosa, one of A24's regular producers.
