According to the Argentine News Agency, the American singer is preparing to debut as an actress in film with a project backed by A24, the prestigious independent studio behind some of the most influential productions of recent years. The film will be titled 'Please' and will be written and directed by Halina Reijn, a filmmaker known for her bold vision and for exploring human relationships in depth from a contemporary perspective. Although plot details have not yet been revealed, it has been confirmed that it will be a period drama with a strong dramatic component and an unconventional approach to romance, in line with her director's signature style. Reijn will also be a producer of the project through her company Man Up Film, alongside David Hinojosa, one of A24's regular producers. The combination of these names has generated expectations within the industry. Although it will be her first appearance in a feature film, Abrams comes to cinema after recently completing her first tour of large arenas in North America.
