TMZ detailed that the actress had permission to film at the sign, but not to climb it, let alone hang underwear on it. This could be interpreted as an act of vandalism and illegal trespassing. 'No permission was granted for this to be done, as is required,' stated the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, owner of the Los Angeles heritage. It is currently unknown if the Chamber of Commerce will take legal action against Sweeney, as they have not responded to inquiries about the matter.
