HBO Max is heavily betting on the new spin-off from the "Game of Thrones" universe, "A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms," which already has two episodes available and premieres its third this Sunday. This production is based on George R.R. Martin's short stories, known as the "Tales of Dunk and Egg," and is the second spin-off to join "House of the Dragon." The story is set approximately a century before the events of "Game of Thrones" (and about 70 years after "House of the Dragon"). During this time, the Targaryen dynasty still occupies the Iron Throne, and the memory of the last dragon is still fresh in people's minds. The plot follows the adventures of an unlikely pair traveling through the landscapes of Westeros: Ser Duncan the Tall (Dunk): A young wandering knight, naive but brave and of great stature, who seeks to earn his living and honor in tournaments and battlefields. Egg: His small and mysterious squire, a bald and sharp-witted boy who, in reality, hides a royal identity: he is Prince Aegon Targaryen, the future King Aegon V.
