The project is led by Eric Robles as showrunner and features executive production by the Duffer brothers. Set between the second and third seasons, 'Stranger Things: Stories from '85' takes place during the winter of 1985, when Eleven, Mike, Will, Dustin, Lucas, Max, and Hopper enjoy what seem to be peaceful holidays.
However, a mysterious threat emerges under the snow-covered streets of Hawkins, once again forcing the group to unite to uncover its origin and save the town. The series will feature a prominent voice cast, led by Jeremy Jordan as Steve Harrington. Also joining are Brooklyn Davey Norstedt (Eleven), Luca Diaz (Mike), Elisha 'EJ' Williams (Lucas), Braxton Quinney (Dustin), Benjamin Plessa (Will), and Brett Gipson (Hopper).
Netflix officially unveiled the animated spin-off 'Stranger Things: Stories from '85,' which will expand the franchise's universe and offer new adventures for fans. The streaming giant has already released the trailer and confirmed the series will premiere on April 23.
