NASA and SpaceX Crew-12 Mission Successfully Docks with ISS

Washington, Feb 15. The NASA and SpaceX Crew-12 mission has successfully docked with the International Space Station (ISS). The SpaceX Dragon capsule, founded by Elon Musk, made contact with the ISS as scheduled at 15:15 local time (20:15 GMT) while flying over South Africa, approximately 34 hours after its launch from the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. The mission crew, commanded by Jessica Meir and including fellow American Jack Hathaway, Russian Andrey Fedyaev, and Frenchwoman Sophie Adenot, will replace the Crew-11 team. The previous crew, composed of Americans Zena Cardman and Mike Fincke, Japanese Kimiya Yui, and Russian Oleg Platonov, returned to Earth on January 14 due to a medical emergency. Since then, the ISS has been operating with a reduced crew of three. The full Crew-12 mission is expected to last about nine months.
