American Actor Shia LaBeouf Charged with Assault in New Orleans

American actor Shia LaBeouf was accused of assault following an incident during the Mardi Gras celebrations in New Orleans. According to official reports, one of the victims stated that the actor punched them multiple times. The actor was arrested after receiving medical attention for unspecified injuries. The incident occurred around 00:45 local time on the tourist street of Royal Street, where LaBeouf caused a disturbance in an unidentified establishment and became "increasingly aggressive" when removed from the premises. Later, after returning to the scene with more aggression, LaBeouf allegedly assaulted the same person on the upper body and another in the nose before being finally detained by authorities. Judge Simone Levine released him on his own recognizance, ordering him to appear at future court hearings on March 19.
