Juanes premieres his twelfth album ‘JuanesTeban’ and explores artistic duality

The renowned Colombian artist, Juanes, winner of 29 GRAMMY® and Latin GRAMMY® awards, officially released his highly anticipated twelfth studio album, ‘JuanesTeban’, this Friday. The production, hailed by Rolling Stone as one of the most anticipated Latin works of the year, debuts as part of the kick-off of his worldwide ‘Juanes World Tour 2026’. This new discographic project is a 16-song conceptual album that explores the duality between light and darkness, as well as the coexistence of rock and cumbia. As Juanes himself explains in the album's biography, the work functions as a kaleidoscope of his moods, allowing him to return to the roots of Latin American folklore with a renewed and personal focus.

Featured collaborations and singles. The release is accompanied by the single ‘Timelapse de sol’, a collaboration with the Venezuelan band Rawayana, whose music video was filmed in the landscapes of Costa Rica under the direction of Agustín Puente. In addition to this track, the album includes special appearances by artists such as Mon Laferte on ‘Vuelve’, Bomba Estéreo on ‘Muérdeme’, and Vivir Quintana on ‘Humano’. A notable technical aspect is the contribution of Davide Rossi of Coldplay, who was in charge of the string arrangements for the tracks ‘El Gran Día’ and ‘Una Noche Contigo’. The album concludes with ‘Madre’, an acoustic composition dedicated to his late mother, Alicia.

Visual concept and international tour. For the first time in his career, Juanes has integrated his original artwork into the album's design; the cover and illustrations for each song were drawn by the artist and are available in the physical CD and vinyl editions. This visual facet complements the album's narrative, developed in conjunction with Sebastián and Juan Camilo Londoño. The premiere of ‘JuanesTeban’ coincides with a period of high activity for the artist, who recently performed at the Viña del Mar Festival and the Movistar Arena in Madrid. The artist's international tour includes over 50 concerts worldwide for 2026.
