Streisand took the stage to honor Robert Redford, with whom she shared the screen in the memorable film 'The Way We Were,' and then performed the song of the same name, while the main screen shared a montage dedicated to the artists. After the artists walked the red carpet, the ceremony was hosted by comedian Conan O'Brien, who returned as host after his performance at the 2025 edition.
