Among the highlights are Os Garotin, Cacá Magalhaes, and Darumas, who will seek to win over the public after the awards ceremony.

Manuel Abud, CEO of the Latin Academy of Recording Arts, emphasized the importance of this category in the Academy's mission to support and promote new talent in the Latin music industry. He highlighted the impact that the Best New Artist award has on the future of emerging stars in the genre.

During the gala, Kany García, the winner of the award in 2008, presented Sofi Saar from Monterrey, who captivated the audience with her fresh and feminine style in pop music. The evening culminated with an impressive performance by Kevin Aguilar, a young Mexican talent aged 13, whose powerful voice and soul style left the audience stunned.

Manuel Abud noted that this recognition marks a turning point in the careers of the nominated artists, providing them with opportunities for success and growth in the industry. During the showcase, the artists performed two songs each, showcasing a wide variety of genres and musical styles.

Among the most acclaimed artists of the night is Kevin Aguilar, who surprised the audience by covering "La Incondicional" by Luis Miguel in a norteño rhythm, demonstrating his vocal skill and establishing himself as one of the breakout artists of the ceremony. Additionally, Mexico leads the nominations with talents like Agris, Kevin Aguilar, Sofi Saar, and Latin Mafia, while other countries like Spain and Colombia are also represented in this category.
