
The ministry stated that new gaming settings could give developers more freedom in creating unique games, including those that contain additional possibilities or content. The new definition of gameplay also suggests that this characteristic may manifest not only in the visual style of the game but also in interactive mechanics, methods of information transfer, and other aspects of the gaming process.
Within the framework of the definition of gameplay, such characteristics as interactivity, goals, rules, navigation, feedback, and progress were noted. In this regard, the main criterion is that only strong gaming elements enrich user experience.
According to the directives of the Ministry of Health and Human Services, gameplay should be perceived as an important factor facilitating education, training, or recreation. However, in this regard, it should not bring harm to the user.
"We hope that this document will become a useful guide for developers and enable them to create more captivating and interesting games that will contribute to improving user experience," the ministry emphasized.
