This statement was made by Trump during an interview, in which he also underlined the importance of good relations between the US and North Korea. According to the former president, normalizing relations between the two countries would contribute to world peace.
Trump also added that he was ready for direct contact with Kim Jong Un and confident in his ability to resolve any issues, including the nuclear question and other contentious moments.
