The case is related to a lawsuit filed over the publication of fake news. According to Trump, he encountered discrimination after being blocked on the platform. He also noted that this was an attempt by the company to influence the results of the elections.
Meta representatives stated that they agree to this settlement but do not admit to any wrongdoing or blame. Instead, they emphasize avoiding lengthy and costly litigation to continue their work for the benefit of society.
Trump, in turn, pointed out that the resources he receives will be directed to help veterans and combat censorship on the Internet.
