
On Thursday, U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo stated that countries criticizing President Donald Trump's proposal to transfer their assets to the American company TikTok must offer their alternatives.
Pompeo emphasized that so far no other ideas have been proposed to resolve this issue. "If you have a better proposal, bring it forward. But so far, no one has done this," he noted.
"We want to see innovations to ensure the informational safety of the American people," added Pompeo. - "When there are problems with cybersecurity in the United States, we need to address this."
He also communicated that Trump stated that other countries might experience the same risks as the U.S., particularly referring to the operations of ByteDance in their countries.
