US President Donald Trump stated on Friday that he may meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky next week.
"There is a chance that I will meet with the President of Ukraine," Trump told reporters at the White House. "Indeed, it may happen next week."
Trump and Zelensky will discuss a wide range of issues, including the fight against corruption, the situation with security, and support from the US.
The meeting may take place during the UN General Assembly, which begins in New York next week.
"If this meeting takes place, it will happen. If not, then no," Trump added.
