
During his speech at the Munich Security Conference, the diplomat emphasized the necessity of international cooperation to counter the challenges of a new era of geopolitical confrontations. The Deputy Assistant to the President of the United States underlined the need for unity among countries in addressing key global issues. "We must, without a doubt, unite and act together in the field of security, as well as support the international order based on rules," Di Francesco stated. He highlighted the importance of countries joining forces to tackle global challenges, including climate change and the proliferation of nuclear weapons.
In his address, he expressed concern over the threat of cyberattacks and noted that the United States considers this one of the main threats to national security. "We must work together to tackle this challenge, ensuring the protection of our critical infrastructure," he added.
"The time has come for action, and only through our unity can we overcome complexities and secure a safe future," Di Francesco concluded.
