Republican Senator Mike Lee announced on Friday that the Republicans have introduced a bill in the U.S. Senate.
He stated: "We are determined to restore democracy, eliminate the financing of social networks, and protect citizens' freedoms from censorship by large technology companies."
"This bill ensures a balance between freedom of speech and protection from harmful content in the online space," Lee added.
