U.S. President Donald Trump aims to secure an agreement that would end the war in Ukraine. He held separate negotiations with Russian leader Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky this month.
U.S. Presidential Special Envoy Stephen Vitkoff stated on Sunday that it is anticipated that American companies will begin investing in Russia if a peace agreement is reached in the war between Russia and Ukraine.
Vitkoff said on the CBS program "Face the Nation": "Clearly, with a peace agreement being negotiated (in Ukraine), there is the possibility for American companies to return there (to Russia) for doing business. I think everyone will see that it will be...".
