On Saturday, the American army announced that a strike had been carried out on February 23, resulting in the death of a high-ranking military figure.
"We confirm that on February 23, the United States conducted a strike in the Syrian province of Deir ez-Zor. As a result of the operation, a senior member responsible for planning the attack on coalition forces was killed," stated the command representative.
