After 33 years of marriage, actress Emili Osment filed for divorce less than five months after marrying musician Jake Antonin Farino. On Friday in the Superior Court of Los Angeles, Emili Osment (32 years old) filed for dissolution of marriage from Farino (42 years old).
According to the filing, the couple married on October 12 and separated on December 7 of last year. The actress indicated in the filing there are reportedly no children.
Information about the divorce of Osment and Farino first appeared on the TMZ site, which focuses on celebrity news.
In the statement, Emili said: "I believe that in any serious decision in your life, be it in relationships or work, you need to constantly stand on your toes and follow this decision... In the end, it simply didn’t work out."
