Senator from the state of Arizona, member of the Democratic Party, Mark Kelly announced that he is getting rid of his Tesla automobile due to the role of brand owner, Elon Musk, in federal budget cuts, reducing the number of employees and funding related to social safety programs.
Kelly and Musk recently engaged in a dispute after Musk responded to publicly shared Kelly's comments about a visit to Ukraine, criticizing Trump regarding aid.
In a video, publicly shared on the platform X, belonging to Musk, Kelly stated that he does not want to drive a car, created and structured by an idiot, which is ruining America.
"Every time I drive this car in the last 60 days, I remember what harm is being done to our country by Elon Musk and Donald Trump," Kelly said.
