During the annual meeting of Berkshire Hathaway shareholders, Warren Buffett criticized the policies of President Donald Trump. In his remarks in front of the shareholders, he expressed his discontent with certain actions of the administration.
He noted: "If you accepted the election win, it does not mean that you agree with how the country is being run." Buffett also added that many of his acquaintances, who supported Trump during the pre-election campaign, now share his discontent regarding the actions of the administration.
"It seems to me that if you supported the election of a candidate, it does not mean that you have to approve all of his actions," he emphasized.
However, Buffett acknowledged that the positive changes in tax policy proposed by Trump played a certain role in the growth of profits for Berkshire Hathaway.
