
On Tuesday, the U.S. government announced that it will conduct an investigation into the incident, the result of which may involve activists occupying the University of Washington.
According to a statement, a group of demonstrators broke into a large auditorium at the university, possibly causing damage to property and violating public order. Currently, the agency is seeking evidence and intends to clarify the circumstances of the occurrence.
One of the representatives of the government noted that such actions may not be justified and those responsible will be held accountable in court.
"We are obligated to ensure the safety of all educational institutions to guarantee a free learning environment for all students," he emphasized.
