Sabrina Carpenter Demands White House Stop Using Her Music

Pop star and Grammy Award winner Sabrina Carpenter has asked the White House to stop using her artistic works. This comes after the administration of President Donald Trump used one of her songs in a video posted on social media, showing agents from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arresting several individuals.

The video, posted last Monday, features Carpenter's hit song "Juno" (2024). The video shows officers from the federal immigration and customs enforcement agency chasing and apprehending individuals, while passersby film the events on their mobile phones.

Carpenter (25) wrote on social media platform X: "This video is disgusting and vile. Do not involve me or exploit my music for the sake of your inhumane program. Leave my songs alone."

White House spokesperson Abigail Jackson stated: "This is a short and concise message to Sabrina Carpenter: we will not apologize for deporting dangerous criminals, killers, rapists, and child molesters.. Anyone who defends these sick creatures must be an idiot.. Are you too?"

Carpenter has joined a list of more than 20 musicians, including Neil Young and members of The Rolling Stones, who have objected to Trump's use of their work. During his second presidential term, Trump is focusing on maintaining a strong presence on social media, and members of his communications team post short video clips accompanied by many famous songs to showcase efforts to fulfill his campaign pledges.
