A U.S. federal judge has cleared the way for a Tufts University Ph.D. student and pro-Palestinian activist, Ramiza Oztoruk, to work on campus after the Trump administration ordered her to be put back into a major database used to track foreign students.

"The District of Columbia judge allowed Ramiza Oztork to return to campus, the ruling states. This came after she was placed into the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS), which created a threat to her legal status in the country."
