The White House Press Secretary, Caroline Levitte, published on Saturday via the X platform new details about the U.S. military operation aimed at capturing Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro. According to testimonies from one of Maduro's bodyguards, the operation resulted in the deaths of hundreds of Venezuelan soldiers due to the use of what was described as a 'secret weapon,' causing multiple injuries, including nosebleeds and vomiting blood. The bodyguard told the American New York Post newspaper: 'We were on guard duty when suddenly all our radar systems went down, and numerous drones appeared flying over our positions.' He added that eight helicopters dropped 20 American soldiers equipped with advanced technology that surpasses conventional weapons, describing the attack not as a traditional battle but as a 'massacre.' The bodyguard pointed to the use of unconventional weapons, explaining: 'At one point, they fired something resembling an intense sound wave, and I felt as if my head was about to explode from within. We all started nosebleeding, and some of us collapsed on the ground, unable to move.' Meanwhile, Venezuela's Ministry of the Interior reported the deaths of about 100 security personnel during the attack, which occurred on January 3, without confirming whether the fatalities were due to the use of the mysterious weapon. In turn, a former American intelligence source told the New York Post that the U.S. has possessed 'directed energy weapon' technology for years, which can cause symptoms such as bleeding, paralysis, and pain or burns.
