"I can't think of anyone in history who deserves the Nobel Prize more than me, and I don't mean to brag, but no one else has solved wars," Trump said. These comments contrast with his previous statements questioning Machado's ability to lead Venezuela due to a lack of support. Machado, in turn, expressed a desire to present her award to Trump, though the Nobel Institute clarified that the prize cannot be transferred to third parties.
