US President Donald Trump announced a 10% tariff on most European goods in response to their resistance to US control over Greenland. In a post on Truth Social, he noted that from June 1, tariffs could rise to 25%. Trump stated that these countries are engaging in an 'extremely dangerous game,' a level of which is unacceptable and unsustainable. He added that the tariffs will remain in effect until a full agreement to purchase Greenland is reached.
