Trump had previously threatened to invoke the 'Rebellion Act,' which allows him to send troops to Minnesota to enforce the law. Trump posted on his Truth Social platform: 'I call on the mayor and governor to rebel with their arrogant, dangerous, and cocky statements.' This is an escalation of the conflict between the Republican president and Democratic Party members Mayor Jacob Frey and Minnesota Governor Tim Walz.
