Kevin Warsh's name has re-emerged in the American economic scene after topping Donald Trump's final list of candidates to lead the Federal Reserve, making him the only candidate to reach this stage twice during two different nomination periods. According to media reports, Warsh has a close relationship with Trump and has advised him on economic policy issues. Warsh is 55 years old and a former Federal Reserve governor, serving on the Board of Governors from 2006 to 2011. Before his time at the Fed, he was an economic advisor in the administration of former President George W. Bush and also worked on Wall Street.
