Buenos Aires, February 4 (NA) – U.S. President Donald Trump held a telephone conversation with his Chinese counterpart, Xi Jinping, amid reports of a possible visit by the American leader to the Asian country next April. This was reported by the Chinese Foreign Ministry, and as learned by the Argentine News Agency (NA), the call took place after both leaders reached a trade truce last November. Meanwhile, it was noted that the call came shortly after Xi Jinping held a videoconference with Russian President Vladimir Putin, during which they both praised their 'stabilizing' relations in a turbulent international context. Additionally, it emerged that both Russia and China called on Trump to extend compliance with the limits set by START III for one year, in line with President Putin's proposal.
