The President of the United States declared this Monday to a News Nation correspondent that «soon» his response to the drone attack on the U.S. Embassy in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, will be revealed. Trump assured that the retaliation would come soon when questioned by correspondent Kellie Meyer from the digital outlet News Nation. Meyer added in her X account that the president told her he would deploy troops on the ground «only if necessary» and would not give any information about what type of actions by Iran could trigger this deployment. The attack on the U.S. Embassy in Saudi Arabia was allegedly carried out by two drones of Iranian origin, according to CNN information. Additionally, the U.S. Embassy would have confirmed that no injuries were reported during the incident, according to various local media. The attack occurred a few hours after the U.S. State Department recommended its citizens in fourteen countries in the region, including Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Lebanon, among others, to evacuate the area while commercial flights were still in route. The Iranian Revolutionary Guard announced earlier today that they continued to attack several U.S. bases in countries in the region such as Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates and Israel. A dozen drones impacted the U.S. Navy base Arifjan, in Kuwait, and another attack targeted «one of the concentration points» of Americans in Dubai, according to the statement. The Trump Administration announced this Monday that it will continue the offensive against Iran in the coming weeks without specifying what type of actions will be taken.
