Trump Disappointed in NATO, Urges Allies to 'Never Forget'

US President Donald Trump expressed deep disappointment in NATO, stating that the alliance has done nothing to support his operation against Iran. "We are very disappointed with NATO, because NATO has done absolutely nothing. I have always said for 25 years that NATO is a paper tiger, and more importantly, that we would come to their rescue, but they would never come to ours," he assured during a cabinet meeting. Trump emphasized that the US does not need NATO's help but urged the allies to "never forget" this moment. Earlier, Trump called NATO countries "cowards" for refusing to join his offensive in the Strait of Hormuz. "Now everyone wants to help, just when the other side has been annihilated, they say: 'We would love to send ships'," he complained. He also noted that the United Kingdom had offered help three weeks ago but never delivered. "Just remember this in a few months, remember my words. There is an expression, a great expression: 'Never forget'.
